The ability of BIS to detect LOC for each group was evaluated using prediction probability (Pk), as developed by Smith et al. [21]. A Pk of 1 would mean that BIS can predict anaesthetic depth perfectly. A Pk of 0.5 would mean BIS is useless for measuring anaesthetic depth.
